Dr Karthik Shetty

The Endodontist

Dr Karthik Shetty is a Restorative Dentist specialized in Endodontics and Oral Implantology. He received his BDS from the SDM College of Dental Sciences, Dharwad (1997-2002). He completed his MDS - Masters in Conservative dentistry, Endodontics and Aesthetic dentistry at Manipal University (2002-2005). Later he attained his Postgraduate Certification in Advanced Oral Implantology at Manipal University (2007-2008).

Dr Karthik Shetty has visited various American dental clinics as an observer and attended the Dental Residency Program at the College of Dental Medicine, Augusta, Georgia State, USA. He is a part of the teaching faculty in the Department of Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics, and the Department of Oral Implantology at the Manipal College of Dental Sciences, KMC (Mangalore) as an Associate Professor.

• Best scientific poster presentation at the fifth All India Postgraduate Students' Convention, Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, June - 2004 at Kanyakumari.
• Winning third prize in quiz at 18th Federation of Operative Dentistry of India and 11th India Endodontic Society National Conference, at November - 2003 BHU, Varanasi, India.

Other Awards

• Awarded the Best IDA Branch Secretary Award for the year 2013 at the 41st Karnataka State Dental Conference (Indian Dental Association) held at Madikeri, Coorg 22nd -24th November - 2013.
• Awarded the Best IDA Branch Secretary Award for the year 2014 at the 42nd Karnataka State Dental Conference (Indian Dental Association) held between 28th -30th November - 2014.
